theOscarSite Bio: Born in Paris, France; started playing piano at the age of 5. He composed his first film music for KI LO SA? (France, 1985). Also working extensively in television, his other notable feature film credits include scores for V.O. (1987), ROSSIGNOL DE MES AMOURS (1991), LAPSE OF MEMORY and FAMILY EXPRESS (both 1992), JOUR DE FAUCHE (1993), BONS BAISERS DE SUZANNE (1995), LUCKY PUNCH (1996), SOUS LES PIED DES FEMMES (1997), UNE CHANCE SUR DEUX (1998), LE CHÂTEAU DES SINGES (1999), VIVE NOUS! and THE LUZHIN DEFENCE (both 2000), HOME SWEET HOME and SUR MES LÉVRES (both 2001), 11'09''01 (2002), TRISTAN and GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING (both 2003), BIRTH (2004), THE UPSIDE OF ANGER, CASANOVA and SYRIANA (all 2005), THE ALIBI, FIREWALL, LE DOUBLURE / THE VALET, THE PAINTED VEIL and THE QUEEN (all 2006), MR.
