Spydercam
Tim Drnec has been working in the motion picture industry as a Special Effects supervisor, stunt coordinator, and specialty rigger with his company FX West. His brings this wealth of experience and expertise to his latest project as one of the creators and owners of spydercam, the innovative suspended camera system. His intimate knowledge and experience with rigging and motion control technology has enabled the company to remain a pioneering leader in the field.

Drnec entered American film as a stuntman and special effects coordinator for DESTROYER (1988). Subsequently, he was special effects coordinator for 17 more films (thru 1998). His Spydercam coordinating credits include CATCH ME IF YOU CAN (2002), BRUCE ALMIGHTY, THE ITALIAN JOB, CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE, TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES, THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN, ELF, THE HAUNTED MANSION and STUCK ON YOU (all 2003), THE ALAMO, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, THE TERMINAL, SPIDER-MAN 2 and FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX (all 2004), CONSTANTINE, BEWITCHED, STEALTH and THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE (all 2005), STICK IT, FLICKA, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST (all 2006), D-WAR, SPIDER-MAN 3, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD and I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK & LARRY (all 2007), and 10,000 B.C. (2008).
