Costume designer who entered British film as a wardrobe mistress on Stanley Kubrick's EYES WIDE SHUT (1999). After working as an assistant on such films as TOPSY-TURVY and THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (also 1999), THE MAN WHO CRIED and LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER (both 2000) and STAR WARS: EPISODE II - THE ATTACK OF THE CLONES (2002), Durran designed ALL OR NOTHING (2002), YOUNG ADAM (2003), YES and VERA DRAKE (BAFTA Award) (both 2004), PRIDE & PREJUDICE (2005), ATONEMENT (2007), and THE SOLOIST (scheduled for release in 2008).
