Director who began as animator and character designer with Disney. Animation and character design credits include FUN WITH MR. FUTURE (1982), THE BLACK CAULDRON (1985), THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE (1986) and OLIVER & COMPANY (1988). His Disney directing credits include THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER (1990), POCAHONTAS (1995) and LORENZO (2004, also writer & production designer).
