Born in Lund, Skåne län, Sweden. Swedish writer/director who began in Swedish television in 1989. Feature film writing/directing credits include LEVA LIVET ("Days Like This") (2001), ONDSKAN ("Evil") (2003), and STRANDVASKAREN ("Drowning Ghost") (2004). Håfström directed DERAILED (2005), 1408 (2007), and SHANGHAI (scheduled for release in 2009) .
