Jones has worked at NT Audio as an Engineer and Technologist since 1996. He has been instrumental in keeping NT in the forefront of technology to best serve the needs of its customers. His most recent project accomplishments include NT's new laser recording system and QC Theatre. Prior to NT, Jones worked for Sony Electronics where he assisted in the development of the SDDS format, receiving a patent for his contributions. Additionally, he performed as a live sound mixer for various touring acts and systems design consultant for numerous screening rooms and live venues. He holds a Bachelors Degree from UCLA and is an active member of SMPTE and the Academy Theater Standards Committee.  Academy Award of Commendation 2006: For their contributions to the environmentally responsible industry conversion from silver-based to cyan dye analog soundtracks.
