Dirty Pretty Things (2003)

Born in Marlborough, England. Entered UK television as a writer for episodes of the series "Commercial Breakdown" (1989). Knight also wrote and directed for the TV series "The Detectives" (1993//1997). Screenwriting credits include GYPSY WOMAN (2001), DIRTY PRETTY THINGS (2002), AMAZING GRACE (2006), EASTERN PROMISES (2007) and SHUTTER ISLAND and EMMA'S WAR (both scheduled for release in 2009).  Nominated for Writing (Original Screenplay) 2003: DIRTY PRETTY THINGS 1 nomination
