Dan Krauss is a film director and cinematographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previously, he worked as a professional photojournalist for nearly a decade, shooting assignments thought the US, as well as in Africa and the Middle East. He was trained in filmmaking at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism.
Cinematographer, editor, producer and director of THE DEATH OF KEVIN CARTER - CASUALTY OF THE BANG BANG CLUB (2004, previously titled 'The Life of Kevin Carter'). Also shot SHELLMOUND (2004). Recent television projects include "Mystery of the Romonovs" (2007) and "Inside Operation Wildfire" and "Unnatural Causes" (mini-series) (both 2008).
