Began as a second assistant director in 1984. Lipman's producing credits include ROAD LAWYERS AND OTHER BRIEFS (1990, also director), "The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest" (1996, TV series: supervising producer), SHREK (2001, co-exec. prod.), SHREK 4-D (2003), and SHREK 2 (2004). In 2006, Lipman was named head of the newly formed Framestore CFC Feature Animation Studio in London, England. Founded in partnership with Universial Studios, the new studio commenced work on its first project, THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX, directed by Sam Fell, Gary Ross and Robert Stevenhagen and scheduled for release in December 2008.  Nominated for Best Animated Feature of the Year 2004: SHREK 2 - Producer at DreamWorks SKG (w.
