theOscarSite Bio: Born in Eugene, OR. Longley's production company, Daylight Factory, specializes in documentary films concerning international subject matter, social affairs and current events. Past work includes GAZA STRIP (2002) and IRAQ IN FRAGMENTS and SARI'S MOTHER (both 2006), which explore subjects in the Gaza Strip, Iraq, and Russia.

Longley was invited to join A.M.P.A.S. in 2007.
