Film editor who entered American television in 1989 as an assistant to the producers of 'The Simpsons'. After working as an assistant editor on such features as STAR TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY (1991), INDPENDENCE DAY (1996), SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL (1997), WHAT DREAMS MAY COME (1998), THE PATRIOT (2000), KATE & LEOPOLD (2001) and THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW (2004), he was the film editor for 2005's Johnny Cash biopic WALK THE LINE, for which he received an "Eddie" from the American Cinema Editors, USA. Subsequent credits include "Walkout" and "Men in Trees" (both TV, both 2006), and 4: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER (add'l editor) and 3:10 TO YUMA (both 2007).  Nominated for Achievement in Film Editing 2005: WALK THE LINE 1 nomination
