O'Connell oversees the visual output of Brown Bag Films and is responsible for the artistic reputation of the studio. He has directed hundreds of commercials and, working primarily in television, his producing credits include GIVE UP YER AUL SINS (2001), "Crap Rap" (also editor) and "I'm an Animal" (both 2006, both TV series), and "Wobblyland" (TV series, also director) and "Crap Rap 2" (TV mini-series) (both 2007). O'Connell also works closely with the studio's up and coming younger directors.
