Sejong Park was born and raised in Korea. When he came to Australia in 1998, he worked in 2D animation and as an illustrator. In 2003, heÊ was accepted into the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and he graduated in April 2004 with a Master of Arts in Digital Media. BIRTHDAY BOY is his first 3D CGI film and one of the first films at AFTRS to use digital previsualization. During his time at AFTRS, Park also provided 3D animation and digital effects on four other student films. Additional credits include RETURN TO NEVER LAND (2002, add'l inbetween artist) and SHREK THE THIRD (2007, surfacer).  Nominated for Achievement in Animated Short Films 2004: BIRTHDAY BOY - producer (w.
