Award-wining documentary producer and director with two films at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. In addition to ASYLUM, Reticker produced A DECADE UNDER THE INFLUENCE directed by Richard LaGravenese and Ted Demme for the Independent Film Channel. She first came to Sundance in 1995 as the producer and director of THE HEART OF THE MATTER, which won the Sundance Freedom of Expression Award. Before being broadcast on P.O.V., THE HEART OF THE MATTER played at festivals around the world, including festivals in Berlin, Galway, Creitel, Cairo, Sarajevo, Bejing and was featured at the Human Rights Watch Festival.
In 1996, Reticker returned to Sundance as producer director of the cautionary tale: "New School Order", which went on to air on PBS. In 2000, Reticker won an Emmy® for directing "Out of the Darkness", a special on women and depression as well as serving as the executive producer on LIVE! NUDE! GIRLS! UNITE! Subsequent credits include "In the Company of Women" (2004, TV: director), 2 episodes of "Wide Angle" - "Ladies First" (2004: producer & director) and "Class of 2006" (2006: director), and PRAY THE DEVIL BACK TO HELL (director) and NERAKHOON (THE BETRAYAL) (co-producer) (both 2008).
