Bill Westenhofer is the visual supervisor leading the Rhythm & Hues' team on THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE for Walden Media/Disney. His numerous credits as visual effects supervisor include: ELF (New Line), THE RUNDOWN (Universal), MEN IN BLACK II (Columbia), CATS & DOGS (Warner Bros.), STURART LITTLE I and II, (Columbia), FREQUENCY (New Line) and BABE: PIG IN THE CITY (Universal), the latter a nominee for Best Visual Effects by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
Starting as a technical director with Rhythm & Hues in 1994, Bill's lighting and effects animation was featured in BATMAN FOREVER (Warner Bros.), (when he first worked with NARNIA Director Andew Adamson), and numerous television commercials. Bill quickly rose to CG supervisor for SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL (Fox), and continued in that role for SPAWN (New Line), MOUSE HUNT (DreamWorks), KAZAAM (Buena Vista), and WATERWORLD (Universal). Bill holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from George Washington University where he studied the use of dynamics in physically based animation. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University.
