Documentary and short subject filmmaker who, working with his brother Stacy Woodard, entered Hollywood films as a producer for CITY OF WAX and BORN TO DIE (both 1934), and edited Frank Buck's FANG AND CLAW (1935). In 1938, he made ADVENTURES OF CHICO. He also was cinematographer for THE NEGRO SOLDIER (1944) and MONSIEUR FABRE (1951).
